The Bustle - Prompt 12

Across the street, the barn raising was going well. Heavy beams being pounded together with sturdy nails, tied to strong rope. The shopkeeper marveled at how far the little village had come; just a few short years ago he landed with the Company at the beach nearby. Now, a new storage shed was needed to hold all of the good. Food was plentiful, and winters were mild.


His shop had started small too, but soon he found a larger place was also in order. Lord Denvers was helpful in choosing a new place; it wasn't too far from his home. Now, his biggest worry was keep up with all the new orders.


"Papa!" His young son called, "you need to come down to the river. There's something amazing to see!"
